Art Institute of Chicago
I had the fortune to have been accepted to the Art Institute, I am pretty proud of myself for pushing myself that far along by myself. I went through the process of applying a month before my senior year started, I was the only person who touched the essay part from scratch, I revised it about 6 times to make it perfect. I stood up pretty late and with a little pressure knowing that with out that essay my application wouldn't be accepted but after a good while of hard work I had finished my essay. I finally sent my application and I did this alone because I even paid the $50 dollars fee for submitting the application, then all I had to do is wait. A few days later I got a call, they called saying that they loved my essay and that they were going to stamp it as recommendation as well go through the acceptance committee, that got me proud because I had done it on my own. A few months passed by and I was starting to think that they didn't even bother look at my application, then out of the clear blue I got a letter from A.I but I was actually pretty nervous on what that letter had in store for me.
Pink-Paint-Pijamas
This is my Alliteration piece that I created and submitted to an All-City competition, I turned up to win 3rd place. I did not think I was going to win anything but I'm proud of it. This is something I am going to improve on as I go along the process in College, I'm still proud of it and it's a good experience as well.
